Welcome to the Expo

A day on the homestead, for the whole family

Now in its third year, the Jackson Ridge Homesteading Expo brings together farmers, makers, and families for a day of practical, hands-on learning. Watch a tree felled and milled on the spot, press fresh cider, pull sourdough from the oven, and talk shop with people who live this life.

It's a fundraiser, plain and simple — every dollar goes to Jackson Ridge School. Bring your questions, your appetite, and the kids.

Kicking off at 8:30 a.m., attendees were treated to inspiring talks from renowned speakers like Joel Salatin, who captivated the audience with his insights on 'Creating the Farm You Love' and 'Folks, This Ain’t Normal.' The event featured a diverse range of topics, including the benefits of A2A2 milk and the art of fermented foods for digestive vitality.
